This Navigation Essentials day is ideal for people who want to gain more confidence to explore the great outdoors, whether on foot or two wheels.

You might be looking at getting started in the outdoors, or just wanting to refresh and improve on some rusty skills you learnt a while ago. We start the day over a coffee getting to know our map and compass, then set off on a walk to develop your knowledge and skills. We will walk about 6 miles during the day with stops to discuss our navigation strategies and you will be given plenty of expert guidance and tips as we go. A great introduction to the navigation skills you need to get out and about!

Pipsticks Walks is pleased to offer a special Chilterns Walking Festival 20% discount for all our ‘Navigation Essentials’ days in 2022 if booked before the end of the Festival (usually £60). Use code CWF2022 when booking online.
