Do you believe in ghosts? England is a haunted country and along the River Thames from the historic market town of Henley there are plenty of Ghostly Tales from the Riverbank to be told! So, don’t be frightened… join us on this day before All Hallows Eve for a spooky walk with Old Father Thames as our companion and discover the Phantom of Regatta Island, Zombies, Henley’s infamous murderous woman, Mary Blandy, and more! Our circular 6-mile route from Henley takes us along the Thames Path National Trail to Hambleden Mill, returning over the hill via Aston. This is an iconic reach of the Thames, with the Chiltern Hills forming an impressive backdrop along the way.
