Chilterns Champion truly going the extra mile

30 April 2019

 Tim Mills

Most of us would agree that completing a 26 mile marathon is a huge accomplishment. Well 26 miles is a mere drop in the ocean for local running enthusiast Tim Mills; he will be taking on the entire route of the Chiltern Way - all 134 miles of it! And what’s more, he’ll be raising money for the Chiltern Society with every step he takes.

Tim will be commencing this epic endurance challenge on 31st May to raise funds to support the Chiltern Society’s conservation work across the Chilterns landscape and he expects it’ll take him 3-4 days to complete. Tim is a lover of our beautiful countryside which the charity works tirelessly to care for. Having run several marathons in the past, Tim felt that he wanted to aim for something a little more demanding.

Tim’s enthusiasm for this venture has been inspiring. He is passionate about the Chilterns and is excited to give something back to the countryside that he cares so much about.

He is quite literally going the extra mile and he needs all the encouragement he can get! Please show your support by sponsoring him today at www.chilternsociety.org.uk/chilternwaychallenge
