Making, mending and repairing have been necessary skills for centuries, but also an outlet for creative self-expression. Enjoy examples from our collection including beautiful tambour beading, intricate straw plaiting, delicate lace, and expert smocking.
All of the museum’s in-house exhibitions are FREE to visit after admission to the museum. General admission is £5.00 for adults, children free.
We are open from Wednesday to Sunday, 12 noon until 4:30pm.
