Join us for our guided walk to learn about the Scheduled Monument of Grim’s Ditch and the human interaction with the historic woodland in the Chilterns!

As part of the Chalk, Cherries and Chairs Landscape Partnership Scheme,  find out what we’re learning about Grim’s Ditch through Buckinghamshire Council’s work.

A guided walk focussed on the Scheduled Monument of Grim’s Ditch and human interaction with the historic woodland in the Chilterns.  This 10km walk will cross a number of Local Wildlife Sites and consider the flora and fauna as well as the many heritage assets along the way.

A refreshment stop will be held in Great Hampden approximately half way, but please bring water and snacks as needed.

A moderate level of fitness is required, as well as suitable clothing and footwear.  There are some muddy and uneven sections to the walk, and a couple of moderate climbs.
