Join the Chilterns Conservation Board’s Heritage & Archaeology Manager, Dr Wendy Morrison, for a beautiful countryside walk and learn about regional archaeology as part of a new heritage trail around the historic monuments of Bledlow Ridge. Generously supported by Lord Carrington and funded by the Farming in Protected Landscapes Initiative, this trail takes in the newly restored Bledlow Cross, the Cop Hill burial mound and a walk through Thickthorne Wood.

Additional information

Start and end at the Lions of Bledlow pub, where you may stay on for lunch and refreshments (not included in the event and prior booking is advisable).

The walk is approximately 4km (2 hours) with some steep slopes! Parking available in Lions of Bledlow car park, no charge.
