Do you have great communications and copywriting skills? Are you digitally savvy with bags of enthusiasm and a creative flair? Do you have an interest in conservation, wildlife protection or the Chilterns as a visitor destination?

If so, we would like to hear from you, and for you to play a key role in assisting the Communications Officer to maintain the basic marketing and communications functions within the organisation.

The Chilterns Conservation Board is an independent body established by Parliamentary Order in July 2004 and has two main purposes; to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the area of outstanding natural beauty, and to increase the understanding and enjoyment by the public by inspiring communities to learn, create and act to care for their local heritage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small team across a wide variety of communications disciplines, topics and campaigns to help deliver the core purposes of the organisation.

The post will suit someone with excellent digital skills, who is highly methodical, detailed and hardworking, with a creative spark and a flair for copywriting.

This post is offered as a part-time, fixed-term contract (12 months) based at the Chilterns Conservation Board offices in Chinnor and might suit someone starting a career in marketing and communications in the conservation sector, or an experienced marketer looking for flexible part-time work. Currently staff are working from home.
