We are looking for a capable and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of this £2.8m landscape partnership project designed to encourage people to appreciate, enjoy and take action for the precious chalk landscape, and deliver practical conservation action at a landscape scale.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a passion for engaging people with natural and cultural heritage, and a strong track record in leading projects and managing a team of internal staff and partners. They will be capable of leading and developing partnerships and managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to leave a lasting legacy.

These projects have been designed to address the real and pressing issues facing the Chilterns, including habitat fragmentation, lack of awareness and appreciation of heritage, and the disconnect between urban communities and the surrounding countryside.

Now into its second year, the Project is starting to have a real impact through a wide range of activity from habitat restoration, wildlife survey, historical research, archaeological investigation to events and activities which celebrate the heritage of the area.
