Special trees don’t only commemorate Royal events. Volunteers have recorded many trees planted to mark events ranging from the Millennium to World Environment Day.
This young cedar was planted to commemorate the 1987 storm and in memory of the thousands of trees across the Chilterns that were blown down that night.
