CPRE Oxfordshire branch Annual General Meeting 2018 is being held on Saturday 21st July at 2.30pm and will include a talk by Dr Jill Eyers on her new book Chilterns at Work: People and Industries through the Years. It looks at how the landscape has influenced the industries that have grown up in the area including farming and agriculture, woodland industries, furniture-making, milling, wine and beer making.
Dr Eyers is director of Chiltern Archaeology and a part-time lecturer for the Open University and Oxford University.

The talk will start at 3.15 and will be followed by refreshments and an optional tour of the nearby Mowbray Fields Local Nature Reserve.
