Pruning of young broadleaved trees

Starts at 09.30am until around 4.00pm

This day provides an opportunity for hands-on practical experience to learn how to improve the form & timber value of young broadleaved trees. The workshop will start with an introductory session followed by a practical demonstration and initial group working. Formative pruning of young broadleaved woodland trees up to 20 years old. NB practice sessions at your own risk!

Held in new farm woods at Angling Spring Farm, Great Missenden, Bucks

Please bring:- Strong footwear and warm/wet weather clothing, packed lunch (tea & coffee provided, work gloves, hard hat and eye protection (if you have them), long handled pruning equipment, secateurs and pruning saws.

Booking essential - Cost £40 per person (woodland owners & volunteers), £60 per person (for businesses)
