The effects of thinning mature beech, replanted areas of broadleaves and unthinned areas of mature Chiltern beech wood (with oak, ash, wild cherry and hornbeam). We will consider the effects of holly removal, re-planting, deer browsing and management, and the issues of extracting timber.
