warburg wildlife reserve

Nestling in a tranquil valley Warburg is heaving with wildlife. It contains a mixture of chalk grassland and ancient woodland. In spring there are carpets of bluebells, in summer the open grassy areas are covered in flowers and butterflies. Orchids and helleborines can be found. An amazing array of fungi appear in autumn. All year round red kites soar overhead.

There is a visitor centre, toilets and a picnic area.
