Voted Farm Attraction of the Year 2009, Mead Open Farm delivers hours of ‘hands-on’ animal fun and action packed play.  All activities are included in admission.

Everyday, children can bottle feed lambs, milk cows, groom ponies and give cute bunnies their daily cuddles. 

And in Shaggy’s huge indoor PlayWorld thereare giant drop slides to brave, ball cannons to fire and fireman’s poles to descend. Whilst for the younger toddlers, Shaggy’s PlayWorld is also home to a separate soft play zone.

There is also crazy golf, go-karts, outdoor log play adventure and during the Summer months, tractor and trailer rides and sheep races. Visitors can take a well-deserved break in the Tea Room or Shaggy’s PlayWorld café.

Easter Excitement – From 4 until19 April 2009 children can follow the Easter Egg Trail and win a chocolate treat.   Plus on Easter Sunday and Monday, challenge Shaggy the mascot to an Egg and Spoon Race.  The winner will take home a huge golden egg each day.

During December children can visit Santa. Children's parties can also be arranged.
