The Ashridge Estate is a huge area of woodlands, commons anddownland in which you can roam freely. There are plenty of waymarked trails, including an easy access trail. There is a visitor centre, shop and tearoom.

The Bridgewater Monument is open at weekends. Beautiful bluebell displays between late April and mid May.

Tracker packs are available for children to take with them on a walk and some mobility scooters can be hired.

 Opening times: Estate open all year. Visitor centre 15 Mar- 21 Dec daily 12-5pm, Monument 15 Mar - 26 Oct Sat & Sun only 12-5pm, Tea-room 15 Mar - 21 Dec daily 10-5pm.
 Entrance: Countryside free. Monument: Adult £1.50, child £0.70
 Facilities: Refreshment kiosk, National Trust shop, visitor centre. School groups by arrangement.
 Access information: Manual wheelchairs and self-drive powered vehicles available from the visitor centre (booking advisable). Designated parking. Visitor centre fully accessible. Easy access trail.
 Dogs allowed: Under supervision.
