Thames & Chilterns Walk
Description
Walks from Henley-on-Thames along the Thames Path National Trail with options to visit Hambleden village and then return to Henley via Aston. Great views of the Chiltern hills and Thames Valley. Look out for wildlife such as red kites, buzzards and deer. Lots of places of interest. There are fantastic pubs at Hambleden and Aston. From Easter to Oct you can take a boat with Hobbs & Sons part of the way and walk back.
A children's quiz has been developed for the Hambleden part of this walk. There are fun questions for children to answer as they go round the route, about what they can see. Download the quiz and answer sheets below.

Route
From Henley-on-Thames along the River Thames and into the Hambleden Valley and Aston village. Can be combined with a boat trip on the river during the summer.
Henley is easily reached by rail and the station is in the centre of town; There are direct hourly services from Reading taking about 30 minutes, services from London Paddington, Slough and Oxford require a simple change at Reading. For train time
