It's that time of year in the Chilterns that we all look forward to, when the woods become carpeted with blue.
Exploring the area around Swyncombe in the Oxfordshire Chilterns on a crisp winter's day is a great way to shake off the cobwebs and enjoy this season.
A sunny autumn ride on the 14 mile Wendover Loop of the Chilterns Cycleway had both tranquil and exciting moments for Claire Forrest from the Chilterns Conservation Board.

Cycle hire is now available at the Chilterns Gateway Centre at Dunstable Downs, weekends and bank holidays from Easter to October, from 9.30am to 5pm.
