The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home charity offers specialist and supportive care and advice for patients with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in their homes.
The charity has been given an acre of land near the station in Wendover. The land overlooks the village and the charity plans to establish a memorial woodland on the site, creating a place of peace for reflection and remembrance.
Native British saplings were planted on Saturday 6 February and Saturday 13 February 2010. A ceremony of dedication took place in the summer of 2010 when the trees were in leaf.
Everyone is invited to help plant trees in this new special wood. If you would like to get involved, please contact the charity.
