In 2008 the Planning Conference is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 8th October. The venue is to be confirmed. The event is open to everyone with an interest in the Chilterns, particularly planning officers, architects, councillors and environmental groups.
In 2007 the Planning Conference covered the following topics:
The Housing Green Paper and implications for protected landscapes
Parish plans and village appraisals
Sustainable homes and energy efficiency
Closure of rural post offices
Provision of affordable housing in rural areas
